Sam Menzin is a sports executive, entrepreneur, and investor whose career spans professional baseball operations, athlete development, and finance. He is the Founder of SJM Sports, the Founder and CEO of Campus Edge Baseball, and an Analyst at Woods Capital.

With over 15 years of leadership experience in professional baseball, he brings operational expertise and strategic insight to areas such as player acquisition, contract negotiations, athlete development, and large-scale performance infrastructure. He also serves as an Analyst at Woods Capital, a boutique investment banking firm, where he applies this operational and financial background to deal evaluation and client advisory work.

Sam previously served as Vice President and Assistant General Manager of the Detroit Tigers, where he led player acquisition strategy, oversaw performance operations, and managed over $100 million in capital investments across training facilities, academies, and stadium upgrades. His expertise spans contract negotiation, salary arbitration, high-performance staffing, and talent pipeline development.

Sam began his career in sports with Turner-Gary Sports, a top player representation agency, and held previous roles with the New York Mets and Complete Game Institute. A native of Westbury, New York, Sam studied history and psychology at Swarthmore College and is currently completing his Executive MBA at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.
